Trachea works as a passage of air and food to windpipe and food pipe resp. Its passage doesnt collapse bcoz it contains rings of cartilages which prevent its collapsing either its more air or less air hope its help u now plz help me too by giving me the brainliest answer

Trachea is a hollow and wide tube, also known as Windpipe, which connects the voice box ( larynx) to the primary bronchi of the lungs .

It is an important part of respiratory system as it provides pathway/ passage for air flow to and from the lungs during respiration.

Trachea is supported by c-shaped cartilagenous ring, which hold it in proper place when there is less amount of air present inside it.

Therefore, trachea walls do not collapse even when there is a little air in it.
