Adipose tissue - These are oval and round cells filled with fat globules .
- Also called Adipocytes
FUNCTION :-
- It acts as insulator and prevents loss of heat from the body.
- It helps in storage of food in the form of fats .
- It forms cushion like shock - absorbing structures below VITAL organs such as heart , kidney , eye balls etc.
