what is the gas filled in lpg

petroleum is passed through fractionating coloumn to obtain different products like diesel petrol etc . petroleum gas is also one of them . the gas is compressed to change it into liquid state and then filled in LPG cylinder

GAS FILLED IN 'LPG' IS MOSTLY PROPANE [C3H8] OR BUTANE [C4H10].
