gist of the story-
one needs to act in an intelligent way at the time of crisis. One needs to be bold and the presence of mind is always essential in the time of crisis. In this play Gerrard is the main character. He uses his presence of mind and outplayed the Intruder. During the talks he learnt the intention of the Intruder and at last he was able to protect his life from the Intruder because of his presence of mind.
