Answer:-

9.77N

Given :-

  • Mass of the earth is (M) = 6 ×10²⁴ kg
  • mass of the object (m) = 1kg
  • Radius of the earth (r) = 6.4 × 10⁶

To find :-

  • Gravitational force of the body

SOLUTION :-

For finding the Gravitational force of the body we have formula that is

F = GMm/r²

where ,

  • G is the Gravitational constant [6.67×10^-11]
  • M is the mass of earth
  • m is the mass of object
  • r is the radius

Substituting the values ,

Have a look on calculation !

F = 6.67×10⁻¹¹ × 6 × 10²⁴×1/ (6.4×10⁶)²

F = 6.67×6×10¹³ / 6.4× 6.4 10¹²

F = 6.67×6 ×10¹³×10⁻¹²/6.4×6.4

F = 6.67×6×10/6.4×6.4

F = 6.67×60/6.4×6.4

F = 667×60/64×64

F = 40,020/4096

F = 9.77 N

So, the Gravitational force acting on the body is 9.77N
