The greatest contribution of pre-colonial government to the present government is a strong foundation of the economy.

1. India is primarily an agricultural company and still follows an agrarian economy. Even today a large part of the population depends on agriculture for their daily livelihood.

2.  The pre-colonial society and the government created a strong base for agriculture, small-scale industries, handicraft industries, trade, and fisheries.

3. It was the era of pre-colonial government when military power was increased. Political power was enlarged as well which has a strong effect till today.

4. The strong foundation of the economy created during the pre-colonial era made India self-sufficient financially and from other aspects as well.

5. There was a great development in the infrastructure. Roads, railways, buildings. and bridges were constructed which strengthened the economy further.

6. There were other businesses that were flourishing which created more opportunities for employment and still creates opportunities.

7. Farming was introduced with better techniques which was another positive development for India.
