what is the greatest number which when divides 398 and 436 leaves 7 and 11 respectively as remainder

The answer is the LCF of 391, 425 and 527, which is 17 

398 - 7 = 391 = 17 x 23 
436 - 11 = 425 = 17 x 25 
542 - 15 = 527 = 17 x 31
