greatest value of sin^4A + cos^4 A = 2

how ?

it' because as we know that sinA is maximum at 90 ° and cosA is maximum at 0° .

so , maximum value of sinA is at 90°

and maximum value of cosA is at 0°.

now come to the question,

sin^4 A + cos^4 A

= sin^4 90° + cos^4 0°

= ( 1 )^4 + ( 1 )^4

= 1 + 1 = 2

hence, greatest value of

sin^4 A + cos^4A = 2
