13 because haploid meant ( n)half set of chromosomes
2 n = 26
n=26/2
= 13

In case of sexual reproducing organisms, the number of chromosomes in the body cells is diploid (2n) which is twice the haploid (1n) number being found in the sex cells, or gametes of organisms.

Hence the haploid number for a chromosome have diploid number as 26 will be 13 as explained above.
