➽ The depletion of ozone layer will allow maintain UV radiation ( ultraviolet rays) to reach our earth.

This can affect the organism living on earth, in the following views:-

UV radiation causes mutation.

UV radiation can increase the incidence of skin cancers.

UV radiation can causes cataract in human being's eyes.

The radiation damage the immune system there by causing number of diseases.

MORE TO KNOW ABOUT OZONE LAYER :-

• Mostly O2 is found in the form of diatomic state.

But there is also another form, which is made up of 3 atoms of oxygen. This triatomic molecule of oxygen is called ozone.

It is found in very small amount in the lower atmosphere, i.e. troposphere.

But in stratosphere it forms a complete shield. This shield of ozone present in the stratosphere is 15-50 km above the earth surface, and called as ozone or ozonosphere.

This ozone layer screens our earth from most of the sun's harmful UV radiation.
