Answer:

403 = 13 × 31;

186 = 2 × 3 × 31;

Multiply all the common prime factors, by the lowest exponents.

Greatest (highest) common factor (divisor):

gcf, hcf, gcd (403; 186) = 31

gcf, hcf, gcd (403; 186) = 31;

the numbers have common prime factors

First you should know about HCF ?!

= HCF heighest COMMON factor is a highest no by which both no can be divided .

To find HCF :

1st find the factors of both numbers :-

186 - 2 x 3 x 31

403 - 12 x 31

so , here you can find that the no (31) is common highest factor .

so , HCF ; 31 ❣️
