Step-by-step explanation:

Given: \frac{2}{3},  \:  \frac{3}{4},  \:  \frac{4}{5}  \\

To find: HCF

Solution:

HCF of rational numbers (a/b,c/d,e/f):HCF(a,c,e)/LCM(b,d,f)

here,

HCF of  \frac{2}{3} , \:  \frac{3}{4}, \:  \frac{4}{5}  = \frac{HCF(2, \: 3, \: 4)}{LCM(3, \: 4, \: 5)}  \\

HCF(2,3,4) can be solved using prime factors

2 = 2 \times 1 \\ 3 = 3 \times 1 \\ 4 = 2 \times 2 \times 1 \\

HCF(2,3,4)=1

By the same way take LCM using prime factorisation.

LCM(3,4,5)=60

Thus,

HCF of (2/3,3/4,4/5)=1/15

Final answer:

HCF of (2/3,3/4,4/5)=1/15

Hope it helps you.
