Consider two prime numbers :

2 and 5

There is one and only one common factors of 2 and 5 respectively i.e 1

So, HCF(2, 5) = 1

Similarly take any other two set of primes :

7 and 11

In this case also , HCF(7, 11) = 1

Therefore , we can infer that, for any two prime number choosen, there exist only "1" as a Common factor Which also is Highest Common Factor of any two primes.
