Here is your answer,

HCF of the smallest composite number and the smallest prime number = 2

smallest composite number = 4
= 2 × 2
smallest prime number = 2

Smallest composite no. will be 4 ( 4 has 2 factors)

smallest prime factor of 4 will be 2....and 2 is also a smallest prime no.


so,
H.C.F = a=bq+r

4=2×2+0

so, 2 will be the H.C.F of smallest composite no. and smallest prime factor of that....
