ANSWER;___✍️

When two numbers (they may not be prime) do not have any common factor other than 1 between them they are called co- prime number.

As the definition suggest, the HCF of a co- prime number will always be 1.

Example: (2,3),(25,17), etc.

In case of two even consecutive number,the highest common factor is 2.

2=2×1

4=2×2

8=2×4

16= 2×8......and so on.

take any two even consecutive numbers, the greatest common factor is 2.
