#AlexaRousey here!!
HCF is highest common factor of two given numbers.
a) btw two consecutive numbers :
HCF = 1
If one number is x nd second be x+1 : there is not any number which can divides both other than 1.
Lyk (4,5) , (7,8), (12,13)......
b) btw two consecutive even no :
HCF = 2
If one number be x then second is (x+2).
Clearly x = 2*c and x+2 = 2* d... It's obvious that c nd d can't have common factors.
Lyk (2,4), (4,6), (8,10) ......
c) btw two consecutive odd no :
HCF = 1
Lyk (3,5), (5,7), (9,11)....
Thanks!!
