Hey there !!
☆ Heart is essential and important part of our body , It is situated between the lungs slightly tilted towards left
☆ it is the pumping organ that pumps out the the blood to the body
☆ It is a muscular organs whose size is as big as our fist
--- What is the function of the heart ?
as I have already mention that heart pumps out the blood to the body
what are Parts of the heart ?
Human heart is made of cardiac tissue which has four chambered
first two upper chambers are called auricles and and lower chambers are called ventricles
Can you define Auricles ( Upper chamber ) ?
Yes why not ? there are two Auricles are atria that is left and right separated by pacemaker called septum
Function of auricles - Auricles receive the blood
What is ventricle ( Lower chambers ) ?
it is of two type called left and right which are inferiors chambers of the heart separated by septum
Function - The walls of the ventricles are thicker than of the atria as it has to pressure pump blood into various organ of the body for oxygen supply
Left atrium receives the oxygenated blood from the lungs via pulmonary veins during this collection the left atrium relaxes it then contracts while left ventricle expands so blood is transferred to it , as the left ventricle contracts next then blood is pump out for circulation to the body , deoxygenated blood enters to the right Atrium as it expands when the right Atrium contracts the corresponding lower chamber right ventricle dilates deoxygenated blood thus enters in it which in turn is pumped to lungs for oxygenation .
Hope this would help you!!

• Heart is a pumping organ that beats continuously and pumps oxygen-rich blood to all parts of the body and carbon dioxide-rich blood to the lungs. It is located in the chest cavity and is approximately the size of your fist. It is present in centre of the chest cavity in ribcage.
• The functions of heart are as follows: -
1) It pumps oxygenated blood to all parts of our body.
2) It helps in transportation of food to all parts of our body.
3) It transfers oxygen to all cells of our body.
4) It helps in transfer of deoxygenated blood to lungs.
• In human beings, the heart is a muscular organ. It is divided into four chambers right auricle, right ventricle, left auricle, and left ventricle. The walls of these chambers are made up of a special muscle calledpericardium which contracts continuously and rhythmically to distribute blood to all the body cells.
FLOW OF BLOOD IN HEART
The heart has superior and inferior vena cava. They carry deoxygenated blood from the upper and lower regions of the body respectively and supply the deoxygenated blood to the right auricle of the heart.
The right ventricle contracts and passes the deoxygenated blood into the two pulmonary arteries, which pumps it to the lungs where the blood is oxygenated. From the lungs, the pulmonary veins transport the oxygenated blood to the left atrium of the heart.
