your question is absolutely wrong.

I give answer like this question.

The height of the equilateral triangle whose side is 4 cm is 2√3 cm

The altitude of an equilateral triangle bisects the opposite side

Also, the altitude will be perpendicular to that side

Therefore,

In ΔABC

AB = 4 cm

BD = 2 cm

∠ADB = 90°

By Pythagoras theorem

AD² + BD² = AB²

AD² + 2² = 4²

or AD² = 16 - 4 = 12

or, AD = √12 = 2√3 cm

Therefore, the height of the equilateral triangle whose side is 4 cm is 2√3 cm
