Given diameter of the base of the cone is 10cm.
Therefore radius = 10/2 = 5cm
Slant height of the cone is given 16cm.
By Pythagoras thereom :-
Let radius be base and slant height be hypontuse.
=> a² + b² = c²
=> a² + 5² = 16²
=> a² + 25 = 256
=> a² = 256 - 25
=> a² = 231
=> a = √231
=> a = 15.19cm (approximately)
Therefore radius = 10/2 = 5cm

diameter=10
radius =5
slant height = 16
so h2 + r2 =l2
h2 + 25 = 256
h2 = 256 -25
h2 = 231
h= 15.19 cm
