The Great Red Spot is a giant, spinning storm in Jupiter's atmosphere.  Jupiter's Great Red Spot is more than twice the size of Earth! Winds inside this storm reach speeds of about 270 miles per hour

Trapped between two jet streams, the Great Red Spot is an anticyclone swirling around a center of high atmospheric pressure that makes it rotate in the opposite senese of hurricane that's the reason of the giant spot on jupiter.
