T there was so much of humour in the poem Shady plot one of the humorous incident was that the writer did not wanted to tell his wife about the ghost Helen because he thought that she would get affraid of it but when she came to know that the lady whom she thought that her husband is in with affair came to be as a ghost so she laughed on it and became happy as her husband was not waiting her.
