If you subtract X and add 2 to both sides you will get Y = -X + 2, which is ‘slope-intercept’ form of the line. From the slope-intercept form you get the y-axis intercept as the point (0,2). By solving for y=0 you get the x-axis intercept as the point (2,0). So then draw a straight through those points (0,2) and (2,0) on an (x,y) coordinate plane to get the image you seek.
