Hello friend,
its just like asking what is importance of the environment or a system for living.
see ecosystem is basically an adapted environment for living organisms where everyone is interdependent to one another, supports one-another for  betterment.
every constituent of an ecosystem has its own important role and  value.
if we take out all the lions from a grassland ecosystem , then the number of deers would increase in a ridiculous manner...which can create harmful impacts.
Even the mosquitoes around us have an important role in  up-keeping of ecosystem.

               Hope this helps.....goodluck and thankyou!

shashikumarcpr6: thanks bro
shashikumarcpr6: but i don't understand
aswm55: okay i m ur sis not bro... if u still cant understand , just remind ecosystem as "a system made of the community of living and nonliving things which are inter-dependent to each other (specially when it comes to the matter of survival)
aswm55: is it okay??

As a society, we depend on healthy ecosystems to do many things; to purify the air so we can breathe properly, sequester carbon for climate regulation, cycle nutrients so we have access to clean drinking water without costly infrastructure, and pollinate our crops so we don't go hungry.
