3) in fire extinguishers

4) as antacid medicine ( NaHCO3 + Mg(OH)2 )

washing soda:

1) making fusion mixture ( Na2CO3 + K2CO3 )

2) in manufacture of glass, caustic soda, soap powders , etc.

3) in laundries and softening of water .( this point is very very important )
