What is the importance of battles of buxar and plassey in the Indian historical context give an account

It was the battle of plassy and the Brishters was able to capture Bengal. This battle was fought between the Brishters and Srirajuddaulah(nawab of Bengal).

And through the battle of buxar Britishers captured about whole of India.
