We get energy from plants directly or indirectly...Co2 is essential for photosynthesis,without co2 plants are unable to prepare thr food..hence if plants are unable to make thr food,hw can we get food or energy..in this way co2 is necessary for living beings and without oxygen we can't even breathe..
hence both r necessary for us or for living beings..
