Hi there!

Chemistry deals with the study of materials, their preparations, their properties, their accurate super microscopic structures, their mutual interactions and their uses in all possible walks of life. Chemistry plays an important role in daily life.
Chemistry has penetrated in our life to such an extent that we cannot think of a smooth running live without it. Whether patterns, operation of a computer, functioning of a brain are some of the important chemical principle in diverse areas, chemical industries manufacturing fertilisers, alkalis, acids, salts, dyes, drugs, soaps, detergents, polymers acid other inorganic and organic chemicals contribute in a big way to the national economy.
Chemistry plays an important role in meeting human needs for food, health care products and other materials aimed at improving the quality of life. Many life saving drugs have been isolated from plant and animal sources are prepared by synthetic methods.

Chemistry is responsible for designing and synthesizing new materials having specific magnetic, electric and optical properties. Safer alternatives to environmental hazard of refrigerators like CFCs is responsible for ozone depletion in the stratosphere have been successfully synthesized. Understanding of bio chemical processes, use of enzymes for large scale production of chemical and synthesis of new exotic materials are some of the intellectual challenges for the future generation of chemists.

Hope it helps!
