what is the importance of DNA copying in reproduction?

abrazshaikh: DNA in the cell nucleus is the information source for making proteins. these proteins lead to body design of an organism. if the organisms are to make offsprings that look very much like themselves.

The DNA or Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid contains important information that should be transferred from the parent to the offspring.

Further, variations are generated in the process and this is something that leads to evolution of organisms.

Moreover, the chromosomes present in the nucleus of DNA carry gene pools (genetic materials) that aid in healthy and safe development. If these are not copied then serious abnormalities would develop in the offspring.

DNA – Deoxyribonucleic acid is the genetic material that is present in the cells of all organisms. DNA carries genetic information from one generation to the other and this helps in producing organisms of its own types. DNA copying is must for inheriting the traits from the parents. Any variations in DNA copying will give rise to origin of new species.
