Language and popular tradition are important components in the creation of a national identity. Language groups often become synonymous with regional geographical identities i.e. the contiguous area where speakers of a particular language are found. Popular tradition is also important as it reflects a shared cultural heritage and history. It signifies a cultural unity among the people that lends itself more easily to the task of nation building as the population identifies with each other.

Languages are the most important thing in present world. They are the medium by which we can communicate to other people. We can share our ideas in different fields due to languages. If there would be no language for communication then we would not be having gadgets, televisions, cars, bikes, smartphones, computers, laptops, palmtops, pendrives, CDs, DVDs, etc. as the ideas of these inventions would not be shared. The world in which we live today is so developed due to language directly or indirectly.
