HI ! For your question:

Plants are essential to be a part of environment in order to make humans exist . We intake oxygen which is only released by plants at an excess amount . We give them co2 to live and provide us fresh air and rain . Thus, without plants no ecosystem can survive easily as well as other organisms ..

In the case of food chain ! If there are no plants .. then the herbivores will all die and give rise in the population of carnivores which again results in danger !

Thank you !! Hope it helps..

Plants make oxygen. One of the materials that plants produce as they make food is oxygengas. This oxygen gas, which is an important part of the air, is the gas that plants and animals must have in order to stay alive. When people breathe, it is the oxygen that we take out of the air to keep our cells and bodies alive.
