The Preamble is important because it justifies the reasons to why the Framers of the Constitution made our government a republic. And by doing this, the founding fathers replaced the Articles of Confederation with The Preamble. Also, I learned that in 1787 our founding fathers agreed to write a list of principles that would keep people free. So, the U.S.A. was just starting out as a whole brand-new country and so our people wrote out the things that we should be. The Founding Fathers who wrote those principles down on paper called it the Constitution and it's been helping us run our country ever since then. Which brings me back to the beginning which low and behold, our founding fathers named the first part of the Constitution the preamble which tells us what our founding fathers set out to do.
