• SUPW stands for Socially Useful Productive Work and it comprises of many activities that children can enjoy beside learning something from them.
• It promotes cultural and creativity in school children by activities that include pottery, clay modeling, rangoli, paper binding etc.
• It helps children to understand the principles and techniques involved in various types of works and promote their overall physical and mental development.
• It also includes vocational courses such as knitting, gardening, cooking, carpentry etc. And also related to community service to senior citizens, thus imbibing social responsibility in children from an early age.
