Due to the establishment of manufacturing industries in India and helpes inmodernising agriculture by manufacturing tractors, tools and machines used in cultivation, reduction in employement pressure on agriculture, it has brought in foreign exchange, trade and commerce expansion, it also helped in eradiction of unemployment and poverty, boom in economy. Manufacturing industries contributed 17% of our GDP. However since 2003, it is growing at a rate of 9-10% per annum.
