the importance of the three layers of earth are -

  1. there are three layers of earth - crust , mantle and core.
  2. crust is the outermost shell of the earth made up of rocks and minerals . it is where life exists on earth.
  3. mantle - the middle layer of earth just below the crust. it is a silicate layer which plays a vital role in evolution of crust and helps in providing the thermal and mechanical forces for plate tectonic movement.
  4. core is the innermost and super heated layer of earth. this layer exist in liquid state as the temperature is extremely high. this layer protects us form the harmful radiation from space.
