hey mate here's your answer

The most important part about this is not only that objects pull on each other, but that two objects attract each other with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. This is known as Newton's law of universal gravitation.

hope it helps you

Hii

Follow the points

The importance of universal law of gravitation is:-

  • It is the gravitational force that binds us to the earth.
  • It is gravitational force which provides circular motion of the moon around the earth.
  • It is the force which provides motion of planets.
  • It is the force on earth due to moon and sun that provides tides

In simple words it is the gravitational force which binds up our solar system and stars of galaxies beyond our solar system
