A vaccine is a suspension of a disease causing microbe which is killed or weakened such that the suspension does not cause diseases. Rather, it stimulates the production of antibodies in the body. As the microbe is weakened, it gets killed easily by the antibodies produced. These antibodies remain in the body for a long period of time and protect the body against any such attack of microbes.
