In English grammar, Modal verbs are used to present the narrator's or speaker's approach that he has adapted in his or her writing or description. There are three main types of in which we use modal verbs.

possibility/ability/permission

obligation/necessity

intention/prediction

We use modal verbs in intention sentences to indicate about the future happening and the possibility of that action also. Normally the modal verbs used here are will do, shall, would, will not etc
