poem title on soul prayer:

In the poem the soul prayer written by the sarojni naidu.the child in her childhood innocent Soul craves to know the various mysteries of life and the death.the innocents soul player to God to experience the various situation of life. In fact,the entire poem revolves around the soul praying to God and god's answer to her prayer hence, the title the soul prayer is appropriate and hence,justified.

In the childhood Pride I said to thee:

'O Thou,who mad'st me of Thy breath,

Speak,master,and reveal to me

Thine inmost laws of life and death,

'Give me to drink each joy and pain,

which Thine enternal hand can mete,

For my insatiate soul would drain

Earth utmost bitter, utmost sweet.

'Child, I will hearken to the Prayer,

All passionate rapture and despair.

'Thou Shalt drink deep of joy and frame.

And lone Shall purn thee like a fire,

And pain shall Cleanse ther like a fame,

To punge the dross from thy desire.

'So shall thy chastened spirit yearn

To seek from its blind player release,

And spent and pardoned, sue to learn

The simple secret of My peace.

'I blending from my seen fold height,

will teach thee My quickening grace,

Life is a prism of light,

And death, the Shadow "of My face."
