what is the Indian Standard time why is there a time difference of almost 2 hours from Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat​

Indian standard time is the time shown by watches all over india

There is a difference of 2hrs because the longitudinal distance of india is 30° and 1° completes in 4 mins
