Inertia is the opposition of any physical item to any adjustment in it's condition of movement; this incorporates changes to it's speed, healing, or condition of rest.

Inertia is of three types

1. inertia of rest,

2. inertia of motion

3. inertia of direction.

Inertia of rest is characterized as the property by righteousness of which a body keeps on being very still except if acted by some outer power to change that condition.
