Provincial climate has a drastic influence on human activities. This is because the climate puts human health largely at stake due to the high temperature. Humans are largely prone to problems like heatstroke, fainting, headache and diarrhea. People with illnesses like TB and HIV AIDS are likely to suffer as well, like those with developing and suppressed immune systems. These problems stop humans from progressing with their normal activities and in turn affects their livelihood.

Two solutions to this problem are adaptation and mitigation. Adaptation involves finding put various engineering solutions to cope with the change in climate and weather. Mitigation entails seeking ways to lessen the effect of climate change by reducing the chances of occurrence of extreme heat.
