Himalayas influence Indian agriculture in many ways . As, we know Himalayas is the place from himalayan rivers are originated due to melting of glaciers present on the mountains and are perrenial i.e are always filled with water . These rivers brought alluvial soil with them and deposit it on their banks which makes them very fertike for different crops ,vegetables and fruits . Thus , we can say just because of himalayas India has so fertile land and in turn a very great agricultural system .Also, himalayas are responsible for bringing rains in the northern plains i.e they bring monsoon in summer season so that crops which are far away from rivers land can get ample amount of water to grow and fluorish.
