(d) h(x) = 4x + 48
- Let f(x) = y
- To get the inverse of given function we have to convert x in form of a function of y and then replace x with h(x) and y with x
then y = (1/4)x - 12
y + 12 = (1/4)x
4(y + 12) = x
- let x = h(x)
then
h(x) = 4x + 48
- Hence, the answer is (d)
