King ozymandias was a very powerful and a boastful. He wants himself to be remembered till posterity and he gets his statue erected . But due to the ravages of time and natural forces only two vast trunkless legs of stone survive on the pedestal . The face of the statue lies hal broken in the sand . This is the irony.
