THE IRONY IN THE POEM THE RIME OF ANCIENT MARINER IS AS FOLLOWS

"Water Water Everywhere not a drop to drink"

That is the ship was surrounded by water from all sides and the mariners were very thirst but they coudln't drink even a single drop of water.
