it is a type of cultivation in which crops are grown in the place where they cut and burnt the trees . they use ash to fertilize the soil. once the soil looses it fertility they move to another land.

it means shifting cultivation. in this a plot of land is cleared and then that plot of land is fired and the ash is mixed with the soil . after this the farmer grops crops . After harvesting of the crop the lands fertility loses and the. the farmer has find another land to grop.
