Plants 'breathe' and 'sweat' through their stomata, which areregulated by guard cells. Guard cells have a very important job because by opening and closing stomata, they facilitate gas exchange for photosynthesis andhelp minimize water loss...

The guard cell protect the stomata from atmospheric changes.

It helps it to exist comfortably in the weather and climatic conditions
