kinetic energy = 1/2 × m × v^2
= 1/2 × 1000 ×36
=180000joule

AFridiiiKhaaannn: answer is 50000J , but it is when I convert km/.hr to m/s keeping kg not converting to gm .. is it possible to convert only one unit ?

ANSWER
..........

KINECTIC ENERGY = 1 / 2 * M * V ^ 2
M = 1000
V ^2 = 36

THEREFORE
...
1 / 2 * 1000 * 36
= 50000 J
