The 'biogeographic realm' is the broadest and largest realm of the earth.

EXPLANATION:

It is also known as the ecozone and is characterised by the organisms that have evolved in the realm over a time period.  The 'four realms' of the earth are Lithosphere, Hydrosphere, Biosphere and Atmosphere. Lithosphere contains all 'second order landforms'.

Hydrosphere covers almost 71% of the 'earth’s surface' and contains first order landforms. The atmosphere is the layer that protects the living organisms. Biosphere is where every living organisms live and survive.
