Question: What is the largest power of 20 contained in 100 factorial?

Solution: In order to solve this we have to calculate the prime factors of 20 i.e 5*2*2

highest prime factor is 5, so the no. of power of 20 will solely depend on power of 5

Now, 100/5 = 20  and also 100/25 = 4

so the power of 5 will be 20+4 = 24

and => power of 20 = 24

Therefore, the largest power of 20 contained in 100 factorial is 24. [Ans]
